Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy The Confident Parenting Method (“the guide”) from Formative Years (“we”, “us”), a parenting education business in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By paying, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your personal information.

What you are buying

The guide is a digital document (a PDF): A Parent’s Guide to Choices and Boundaries, as described on its page. It is educational material written by a parenting coach. It is not therapy, medical advice or a diagnosis; if you have concerns about your child’s health or development, speak to your child’s doctor.

Price and payment

The price is shown on the guide’s page in US dollars. Any sales tax that applies to you is added at checkout. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The amount you paid and an order reference are on the confirmation page and in your order email.

Delivery

Within minutes of paying you receive an order email with a download link, and the confirmation page shows the same link. The link works for 30 days; save the file somewhere you will find it again. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder, then write to support@formativeyears.ca with your order reference and we will send the guide another way, usually within one business day.

All sales are final

The guide is a single digital document delivered immediately, so it cannot be returned and we do not offer refunds or exchanges. If your copy does not download or the file is damaged, we will fix it or send it another way at no charge.

Your licence

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to read, print and keep the guide for use in your own household. Please do not share, post, resell or reproduce it, in whole or in part; the guide and everything in it remain the copyright of Formative Years.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top says when. The terms in force when you paid apply to your purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada.
